How should followers of Jesus live faithfully in the place God has planted them?

In this message from Jeremiah 29, Pastor Lance reminds us that our ultimate hope is not in a nation, a president, or a political party. Our hope is in Jesus. Because our citizenship is in heaven, we seek the good of the place God has planted us.

We can be grateful without being blind, engaged without being consumed, courageous without being cruel, and prayerful without being passive. We don’t worship our nation, but we don’t turn our backs on it either. We live faithfully, pray boldly, and point people to Jesus—the risen King whose kingdom cannot be shaken.
