As a church community, we are aware of the evolving situation with COVID-19 around the world. You may also be wondering how The LIFT plans to respond during this time.

Our hearts resonate deeply with the words of AW Tozer “A scared world needs a fearless church.” That’s why we are choosing faith over fear, worship over worry, and prayer over panic.

The COVID-19 crisis is a very fluid situation, so we will be broadcasting our services ONLINE in hopes of slowing the spread of the virus.

According to the CDC, here are some steps we can all take:

  • If you are high risk, such as older adults and those with underlying chronic medical conditions, we encourage you to experience church online, and avoid crowds as much as possible.

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick. This includes having a fever of 100 degrees or higher in the last 24 hours and a cough, runny nose or nasal congestion.

  • If you have been in contact with someone who has COVID-19, seek medical attention and self-quarantine. Please do not expose others to the possibility of getting the virus.

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.

  • Stay home when you are sick.

  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.

  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.

Here's what you can do to help

  • The most powerful weapon we have to combat fear, the spread of this virus, and healing for those affected by COVID-19 is prayer. Please join us by praying for our community.

  • Pray for our leaders and doctors nationwide and around the world as they are working on the front lines to combat the virus.

  • Keep a calm spirit and drive out fear in your personal life by keeping your eyes fixed on Jesus and reflecting a life of faith and hope.

  • Consider giving a gift through the church at this time to ensure we have the resources to help all of those in need. Click here to give a gift now.

  • If you are sick, have a weakened immune system, or if you have anxiety about public gatherings during this time, please feel free to join us online. Our service times are 9:30 and 11am, 6:00 and 7:30pm.
