Disaster Relief, North Carolina

This past week, Hurricane Matthew left a wake of devastation from Haiti to the Carolina Coast. Countless homes have been destroyed. Lives have been lost. Currently, the Pembroke/Lumberton, North Carolina area is one of the most heavily impacted areas and several people within our church family have been personally impacted by the flooding. We, as the body of Christ, desire to meet the spiritual and physical needs of those affected. FBCIT is coordinating with other ministries to specifically help the Lumberton area. The need is great for short and long term support.  To be a part of the efforts, here are a few ways to get involved:

1. Pray. Let's join together in prayer and ask God to strengthen those impacted by the flooding with His power.

2. Give. This Sunday, October 11 between 8am - 1pm, bring any of the following items listed with you to church and drop off at trailer located outside of the Lift.

Needed Items: bottled water, heavy duty trash bags, non-perishable foods and diapers.

3. Go. Join organized teams to travel to Columbia, South Carolina and aid in the clean up effort. Fill out the form below if you are interested.

Loving and leading everyone we meet into an everyday walk with Christ.

I'm interested in going.
